grass5beta5 compile problems

Hello,

Attempting to compile grass5.0beta5 on Corel Linux.
Here are the fatal errors:

1. ~/src/libes/vask/V_call.c  lines 150,160,168,178,223
undefined reference to '____waddbytes'

This affects about 25 programs that use vask.

2. ~/src/mapdev/v.digit/dig_curses.c  lines 619,623,624
undefined reference to 'touchwin'

I can't figure out where the problem lies with these.  
Otherwise the compile is pretty clean, with only a few
warnings.

Anyone know the solution to these two problems?
Perhaps there is a library missing in the Corel Linux
distribution?
