AFAIK GRASS does _not_ support any parallel processing.

As GRASS runs most commands on the shell, the computer can do load
balancing for each started command.

To actually make use of more than on processor, you need
task, which profit from running parallel. Most commands in grass
are not written this way. It would be a quite a bit of development 
support to parallelise some modules. But if you need a special
module you might get it done pretty fast.
