r.in.bin + coordinat format

Question...

What is the format of the r.in.bin command to enter the coordinate...

I want to give a global map:

179.5 Eastern limit

-180.5 Western limit

89.5 Northern limit

-90.5 Southern limit

in decimal coordinates but dont know if it should be something like: E:179:30 or so...

any hint on that? Where is that described in the docs?
