[GRASSLIST:2544] Irix binary version

I've just installed the irix binary version 
grass5.0beta11_IRIX_bin.tar.gz  with the script grass5install.sh.

When I run the grass5 script it sends the error message "Bad substitution".
 From previous mails, I remember it has something to do with the .grass5rc file

Any help?
