In my (!) opinion MapServer is

 - much faster
 - much more convenient to install
 - much more flexible to set up different layouts
   (see MapServer playground at:
    http://mapserver.gis.umn.edu/gallery.html 
   )

I have been using GRASSLinks 2.5 for some time.

Well, just my 0.02 Euro
