Dear Grass Users ,
I want to rectify my imagery ( Remotesensing data 4 bands
images) that is in lat-long with the help of scaned toposheet map.
The Scanned toposheet map is in tiff format . So I did the following .

1) I created the X-Y mapset and imported the scaned toposheet that is in
tiff format .

1a) I also created a lot-long mapset and imported my all the bands of
imagery files .

2) I georegistered the scaned toposheet keeping the target location
lat-long. I used i.point and i.rectify . Everythings went fine .

2a) Now I switched over to lat-long mapset and trying to rectify imagery (
band image) with the help of georegistered scaned toposheet . The
georegistered toposheet, I am able to display(d.rast) in my lat-log mapset

but when I use i.point to rectify my imagery files , and I try to plot it
in right side of the window it is showing core dump ( It is ploting the
imagery file in the left side ) . and the bottom massege come
plotting......

3) Plesae also suggest me how to plot RGB combination ( three band at a
time ) for rectification .

With warm regards
