Hi.

I've moved to Debian Woody from RedHat (was sick of rpm malfuncions,
great apt-get!! :-)) and installed grass5 with apt-get. While Nviz
worked on RH now it's not doing well on Debian. It starts and the
command panel works. But noting is seen in the window.
Now I've tried to figure out what Woody installs as graphical subsystem
and I've noted that it installs xlibmesa3 (XFree86 version of mesa3)
instaed of mesag3 (that is really mesag3 mesag3-glide2 mesag3+ggi). I
tried to change libmesa3 in favour of mesag3 but apt-get wants to remove
all my xwindow system.
Any ideas on what I have to have installed on my Debian Woody system?
Any Xfree tuneings to do? Kernel tuneings (I patches with preemtible and
low latency hopeing to get better overall improvement ..... we'll see,
if I ever get NVIZ working :-))

Thanks
