[GRASSLIST:5005] topo_index map

Hello

I need a little more information about topo_index map.
How can it be interpreted ? Say for instance, I got values
from 1 to 17. what do they mean in terms of interpretation
of land characteristics ?

I will appreciate if anyone makes a explanation.
