[GRASSLIST:4623] r3 commands

Hi,

Lately I was interested in the r3. modules of Grass5.0.0 (for that purpose I 
also installed Vis5d), but found out that on my binary they are missing. 
Why?

I also noticed that in the r.mapcalc user's guide there is no explanation 
for the ^ (power) sign. Why?
