[GRASSLIST:5859] joining lines

Hello all,
 

 
I'm with a problem with a vector file. I have stream segments, and I want to 
join the lines together within a threshold. when I run v.support, it join 
the nodes, but I'm still with almost 1500 lines where it should be about 500 
lines. How can I join this lines?
