Hi to all guys!
I am following a tutorial and i can't go on on this point:
If i understand correctly, this line:
v.db.connect map=fires2 driver=dbf
database=$GISDBASE/$LOCATION_NAME/$MAPSET/dbf/ table=fires_1 key=cat layer=2
Connect the table fires_1 to the layer 2 of map fires2.
Running this command, i got this error:
DBMI-DBF driver error:
Cannot open dbf database: ///dbf/

WARNING: Cannot open database '///dbf/'
WARNING: Cannot open database '///dbf/' by driver 'dbf'
WARNING: Table <fires_1> does not exist in database <///dbf/>
WARNING: The table <fires_1> is now part of vector map <fires2> and may be
deleted or overwritten by GRASS modules.

As the table fires_1 doesn't exist anymore...
If I lunch db.describe -c fires_1
I got this output:
ncols:4
Column 1: cat
Column 2: cat_
Column 3: type
Column 4: label

What i am missing?
THx
Luca
