[GRASS-user] PSC: Input Requested

Hmmmmm, my brain is tingling....

Point one.... Forfeit your nomination..... Yhea, right, as if I'd let
you do that.... Of course this would not be necessary... I think we're
open enough... Besides, taking initiative in the GRASS community should
be rewarded, it should not hinder growth...

I think a means like this might be appropriate... And it would also
allow the GRASS community to see another option to the usual mailing
list approach. I think it would be good for GRASS and PSC to see this
alternative approach and see if it can fit into their structure...

I wonder if it is easy enough to set up this polling approach then maybe
either the OSGEO or GRASS server could host.... I'm not a sys admin
though.

If transparency is an issue maybe someone (not planning to participate
in the PSC) can provide and oversee the infrastructure... But I think it
would be ok if we got it up and going on your resources if possible.

Them there are me thoughts

Cheers

An alternative:

I can forfeit my nomination, and setup poll on our labs website. Since
the framework for such a thing is already in place it would be possible
to do anonymous voting via a web browser.

this might make it simpler to keep track of who is voting for whom.

Thoughts?

 Dylan
