[GRASS-user] Too many centroids

Hello:

I imported a shape file.  Some, but not all, of the features show  
each point on the boundary as a centroid.  See attached image which  
was plotted showing the centroid as an 'x'.

I would like to remove the incorrect centroids.

I tried using v.clean tool=rmdac but this did not work.

Does anyone have any ideas how I could do this.
