[GRASS-user] gis.m problems?

I did a cvs update this morning (Dec 30,06). I got no errors in the make
process. When I type grass63 at the prompt I get the usual (for me)
text-based interface for choosing a location. However, when I type gis.m the
two windows open briefly and then close. d.mon does open a monitor. 

Any suggestions appreciated!
