[GRASS-user] help with georeferencing

I have rectified a scanned topo sheet using i.points -> i.rectify and i see
the rectified image in the current mapset and location too.
But i donot know how to display it ....
The current location is xy location. could that be the problem. I tried
creating a lat long location , but i donot know how to import the rectified
imagery to the new lat long location and user1 mapset of the lat long
location.
Can anyone suggest what is to be done.....
