In NVIZ, menu->visualize surfaces

Click Œsurface attributes¹ and select color.
Click Œnew map¹

This will drape your new map over the DEM.

Also, you can add multiple maps to your display (³New² button in visualize
surfaces). Use the ³Position² widget to stack them. Then you can try cutting
planes between them if you¹d like a real ³wow² display.

PS: in the normal 2D display, make a shaded relief map, display it as a
raster and add your color image as a drape map.
