[GRASS-user] r.sim.water: rainfall and simulation lenghts

Hello everyone,
I'm studying the r.sim.water module but I have this doubt:
is the length of precipitation necessarily equal to the total time of simulation, or is it possible to set up length of precipitation so that it is shorter than the total time of simulation?
