[GRASS-user] simple way to join some attribute data w/o geometries

Hi all,

is there a simple way to join some attribute data
in a comma separated text file to an existing GRASS
vector map?

The data in the CSV file does not have any coordinates
but a primary key field that also exists in the polygon
map it needs to be joined to.

ArcGIS 9.2 seems to be able to do this easily, so surely
there must be a way to do it in GRASS, as well?

If I were to write a little GRASS module for this
purpose, what would be the smartest way to go about
it?

Thanks,

Benjamin
