I have finally found the time to create .deb packages of 6.3.0 for 
Ubuntu Hardy Heron.

They are available at
http://geog-pc40.ulb.ac.be/grass/ubuntu/6.3.0/

Jachym, feel free to put them on your server if this is useful.
