very strange.

because here, on a WinVista32-box, osgeo4w-GRASS 6.4.2 RC3 is starting also
with the path-issue, but with some error messages:

C:\>set GISBASE=C:\OSGeo4W\apps\grass\grass-6.4.2RC3
C:\>set GRASS_SH=C:\OSGeo4W\apps\msys\bin\sh.exe

C:\>set GRASS_PYTHON=C:\OSGeo4W\bin\python.exe
C:\>set GRASS_PROJSHARE=C:\OSGeo4W\share\proj
C:\>set GRASS_HTML_BROWSER=explorer

C:\>set
