<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>I am having problems getting m.in.e00 to work in
any version of</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>Grass that I have installed. So far, this includes
4.2.1, 4.3, 5.0beta5, </FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>and 5.0beta6. I have pulled down a wide selection
of e00 files from</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>many different places, including a bunch from the
USDA/NRCS </FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>server, and the ESRI server. </FONT></DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>I keep getting the error message unexpected end of
file, and when </FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>I look at the logfile that the routine generated
(level 9), it looks like the</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>routine is choking on an unexpected variable type.
</FONT></DIV>

<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>I am running on RedHat 6.1, with 2.95 distribution
of the egcs compilers.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>I have tried 2.91 as well to make sure that it was
not a compiler or possibly</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>a glibc problem. Everything compiles without a
glitch. </FONT></DIV>

<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>I am also not able to import sdts, and dem
coverages, which is why I </FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>thought that it may be a compiler or library
problem. I have not tried to</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>install the binary distribution, but will be doing
so shortly. </FONT></DIV>

make sure that it is me and not</FONT></DIV>
