<div>It's available for all Mac OS X users new GRASS 6.1.cvs version
(051210) with new features (14.7 MB):</div>

<div>New features in start application:</div>
<ul>
<li>the preferences are saved;
<li>check update;
<li>more menu up;
<li>disable start.</ul>

<div>The last one is useful to start Grass immediately with your
preferences saved.</div>
<div>You can download the xcode project of start application at the
same site.</div>
<div><br></div>
<div>Inside grass (in /scripts folder) there is a small script inside
to open qgis and enable grass tools.</div>
<div>No more terminal to change links inside qgis.</div>
<div>My suggestion is to duplicate qgis application in another folder:
one qgis normal and one for grass.<br>

This script is opened from a menu voice in Gis Manager (Ext > Open
QGIS application) or from terminal entering:</div>
<div>grass 6.1.cvs > d.qgis &<br>
and after you have to select your qgis application anywhere in your
Hard Disk and press Run.</div>
<div>Read the help about the differences when you use X11 or OS X
(Aqua) version of GIS Manager.<br>

<div>I don't know if it's useful for other platforms.<br>
This script create 2 links for 2 libraries inside qgis (libproj and
libgdal) and if you have installed a gdal with geos support also 1
link for libgeos. You can make these changes only the first time that
you run this script.<br>
This script works with last Grass 6.1.cvs (051105 or higher) and QGIS
0.7.4 or higher and Mac OS X 10.3 or higher.<br>

You also can try the new libraries (37.1 MB) for grass with last gdal
(1.3.1) with geos support at:</div>

<div>These libraries are only for Mac OS X 10.3 or higher.<br>

<div>Grass 6.1.cvs works on Mac OS X 10.2 or higher.</div>
<div>In Mac OS X 10.2.x you can use old Grass 6.0.0 libraries.</div>
