is the first step....<br><br>Second, if ./configure is not find then, you must specify the right folder on<br>./configure flags.<br><br>(if you want to use the binary CVS-GRASS version)<br>You must to create some symbolic links. This happens because sometimes your libraries have a different name from the standard name.

Couple days ago i changed my distribution and now i'm happy owener of debian sarge.<br>
I wanted install grass6.1 on my machine but i couldt.<br>
I changed the library names (Tcl/Tk) but there is still error durig "./configure"<br>

checking for location of Tcl/Tk includes...<br>
checking for tcl.h... yes<br>
checking for tk.h... no<br>
configure: error: *** Unable to locate Tk includes.<br>

(The grass60 installed from .debs works but there is some nviz problem)<br>

what should i do?<br>
