When I try to save my map display as any kind of image (tiff, bmp, jpeg), it displays an error "couldn't execute gdal_translate: no such file or directory" and saves it as a ppm image. I do have gdal_translate, it is located in /usr/local/grasslib/bin/. <BR>
<BR>
1. Is this not the usual place for gdal_translate?<BR>
2. If it is, why can Grass not find it? Is there some sort of environment variable that needs to be set?<BR>
