I would be very interested in purchasing a supplemental book for the ~200 pages that needed to be excluded from the 3rd edition print. I am sure others would be as well. I cant read enough about GRASS, and I absolutely love the format and way information and examples are presented in the book.<br>
<br>To anyone who has not purchased the book: I highly recommend it for people of all skill levels. It will help beginners get started, as as well as intermediate and advanced users gain a broader understanding of some of the great tools and modules available in GRASS.<br>

</div>We had to take out some content due to the 400 pages restriction from Springer<br>
(otherwise they have to do a more costly binding and such). Our draft was<br>
about 600 pages for the 3rd edition :)<br>

We can check with Springer if we can put out the omitted parts from the<br>
previous editions (esp. FFT, orthophoto). Maybe, once they are no longer<br>
sold they don't mind. We'll keep you posted.<br>
