The online documentation for v.lidar.edgedetection show's an -e option to get an estimate of point density (<a href="http://grass.itc.it/grass65/manuals/html65_user/v.lidar.edgedetection.html">http://grass.itc.it/grass65/manuals/html65_user/v.lidar.edgedetection.html</a>). In the GUI I don't see the -e option, and when entered at command line it is not recognized.<br>
