Hi Jenny,<br><br>this one is easy: forget the Tcl/Tk GUI, it's essentially <br>dead code.<br><br>The WxPython GUI is the current, officially GRASS GUI<br>and much more capable and complete than any other one.<br><br>The only exception is 3D visualization, where it has<br>not yet achieved the same feature set as good old<br>NVIZ (but this is being worked on actively at the<br>moment).<br><br>QGIS also has a decent GUI interface for GRASS, but it<br>has been developing much more slowly. It also exposes<br>only some of GRASS' capabilities. Last time I checked<br>(which was some months ago, so some things may have<br>changed by now), it was missing support for:<br><br>- voxel processing modules<br>- imagery modules<br>- 3D vector processing (due to QGIS' 2D vector model)<br>- multiple input map modules (e.g. r.patch)<br><br>So the QGIS GRASS interface is only an option if you<br>can work without the above.<br><br>Ben<br><br>----- Original Message
