The prob is the raster mask, I see this was fixed months ago
(<a href="http://trac.osgeo.org/grass/ticket/1775" target="_blank">http://trac.osgeo.org/grass/ticket/1775</a> ) with the addition of the
maskmap parameter to v.surf.rst.<br>
