<p dir="ltr">I was (am) having the same issue and started with fresh svn. Had same catalog error.</p>
<p dir="ltr"> I ended up using the Ubuntu grass71-daily package on Mint.</p>
<p dir="ltr">Still can't get qgis to display grass vectors and rasters though with qgis 2.10 and grass71.</p>
