I am a total beginner and I found that after image corrections , it's possible to detect from the rock spectrum database and people prepare color coded images equal to different rocks. There are many papers using these techniques and I want to learn this technique step by step for ENVI 5.6 and IDL 8.8 and for the latest Landsat Satellite.
