12.0pt'>The 2007 Pennsylvania GIS Conference will bring the <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:State
w:st="on">Pennsylvania</st1:State></st1:place> geospatial community together
for the fifteenth year to present, discuss, and debate critical topics
affecting the development and use of geospatial information technology in the
Commonwealth. The conference will be held on May 16 and 17 at the <st1:PlaceName
w:st="on">Radisson</st1:PlaceName> <st1:PlaceName w:st="on">Penn</st1:PlaceName>
<st1:PlaceName w:st="on">Harris</st1:PlaceName> <st1:PlaceName w:st="on">Hotel</st1:PlaceName>
and Convention Center in Camp Hill and will focus on the broad diversity of <st1:place
w:st="on"><st1:State w:st="on">Pennsylvania</st1:State></st1:place> geospatial
data, applications, and people. On-line registration opens February 1 at <a

12.0pt'>This year’s conference will feature a dedicated training track,
which will offer hands-on training in various ArcGIS tools and LiDAR
technology. The popular software “Doctors Office” will return
as will a new slate of technology briefings, user applications, and
vendor-client presentations. The conference exhibit hall will house over
fifty hardware, software, service, and data providers, displaying the latest
offerings in geospatial technology. <o:p></o:p></span></font></p>

dynamic topics. Day two of the conference will feature an issues track beginning
with an update from the County Commissioners Association of PA and the newly
formed County GIS Professionals Association. They will be followed by the
unveiling of the newest release of the PA Geospatial Data Sharing Standards
(PGDSS) by PAMAGIC; the latest developments in PAMAP from DCNR; and an update
on the Commonwealth’s Geospatial Enterprise Server Architecture (GESA)
from the Geospatial Technologies Office. <o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
