I have tested it in Vista. I have no error with my original command:
r.los input=dem at debug output=visibilita coordinate=303778,4210733
obs_elev=1.75 max_dist=10000 

But I have error if I modify it a little (max_dist parameter):
r.los input=dem at debug output=visibilita coordinate=303778,4210733
obs_elev=1.75 max_dist=17000
