Dear all

I am running grass6.5 under Msys (under Vista 64bits).
The python version is 2.6.1.
I just installed wxPython 2.8.9.2 and NumPy 1.3.0
according the instructions I found at
http://svn.osgeo.org/grass/grass/trunk/gui/wxpython/README

Now I am trying to start wxpython grass under MSYS but I get error
......................................................................
$ /c/OSGeo4W/apps/grass/bin/grass65 -wxpython
Cleaning up temporary files ...

'import site' failed; use -v for traceback

    import os
ImportError: No module named os
Error in GUI startup. If necessary, please
report this error to the GRASS developers.

If I start python26 out of MSYS and try "import site"
or "import os" it works fine. The environment variables
under MSYS are:

My Questions are:

(1) How can I know that wxpython and numPy are
properly installed?
(2) How can I start "grass -wxpython"?

Best wishes
