[GRASS-windows] ERROR: awk required, please install awk or gawk first

Hi exports,

I tried to add a column on the table by the following code
grass.run_command('v.db.addcol', map='from_shape5', columns='WINNER_COLOR, VARCHAR(15)')

but I got the error:
ERROR: awk required, please install awk or gawk first

I installed awk and gawk on my WindowsXP desktop and works fine by commandline by awk --help. However, I got the same error from grass.run_command('v.db.addcol',...)

Do I run a wrong syntax or it is a bug from v.db.addcol? By the way, I use dbf driver.
