<DIV> I am a student of M.Tech.(Civil Engineering) at Indian Institute of Technology(IIT) Guwahati, India. I have just completed the GRASS 5.7 installaton over Windows XP OS.I have installed the following binaries:</DIV>

<DIV>1) xtcltk-8.3.4-CYGWIN.tar.gz</DIV>
<DIV>2) cyggdal-1.dll.tar.gz</DIV>
<DIV>3) grass-5.7.0-i686-pc-cygwin-24_06_2004-install.sh </DIV>
<DIV>4) grass-5.7.0-i686-pc-cygwin-24_06_2004.tar.gz</DIV>
<DIV> But still after the successful installation, it is showing some error messages while i am choosing some options of the GUI windows.Like, in the "ERDAS LAN" option, it is showing that 'the file i.in.erdas not found'.In some of the other options also(database register options and some others) these problems are arising.I am unable to find out why those files are missing and if so, from where i can get those required files and how to install those files. If you please help me out to get rid of these difficulties i will be very much grateful to you.</DIV>
