It worked for me, thanks for the help Richard. My mistake was that I
forgot to type '/grass/' at the end of the server http adress.<br>
But at the origin, I thought that all the servers in cygwin had the
same content, now I understand that only some of them have GRASS.<br>

<pre wrap="">Instaling the most recent version of Cygwin installer (2.510.2.2) I am
unable to find the GRASS distribution. It is not anymore where it used
to be, in the 'database' section. Has anyone else seen that ? I found in
the forums the idea that GRASS should be put in the 'science' section
but there is no such a section in the Cygwin installer.

Do you still have <a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="http://geni.ath.cx/grass.html">http://geni.ath.cx/grass.html</a> in your download
site list, and have it selected?

<pre wrap="">thanks Richard for you help. I do not have this http address in the
download list of Cygwin. I have also tried it in the Cygwin setup in the
"choose a download site" section but the error message I got was:
"unable to get setup.ini from <a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="http://geni.ath.cx">http://geni.ath.cx</a>". Any idea about how to
install GRASS on cygwin ?

Follow the instructions at:
<a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="http://geni.ath.cx/grass.html">http://geni.ath.cx/grass.html</a>
And look very carefully at
<a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="http://geni.ath.cx/grass.html#toc2">http://geni.ath.cx/grass.html#toc2</a>
Step 3.
Hope that helps,
Rich
