Thanks! I think I may have found a bug on Vista. I had to "Run as Administrator" to get the installer to install the Start Menu shortcuts. In any case, the installer hangs right before downloading Spearfish data. I get a second window saying that it is trying to copy a file of size 81 bytes, but it never completes. I am not sure what file it is, but it causes the environment to not get set correctly. Entering MSYS and typing grass63 yields a "Command not found" error. The installer finishes the installation, but that one file never copies.<div>

[GRASS-windows] Can Only access GUI, no Command Shell<br></font><br></div>
<div></div>Thanks for your response. I installed GRASS using your installer
which was so much easier.
<div><br></div>
<div>I still cannot access the GRASS shell to enter commands. How do I access
the GRASS shell/command prompt? If I try to enter commands into the Output
window in the GUI, GRASS cannot find the command.</div>

[GRASS-windows] Can Only access GUI, no Command Shell<br></font><br></div>
<div></div>Hi,
<div><br></div>
<div>I recently installed native winGRASS 6.3RC5 and when I run grass63.bat or
grass63 from c:\grass63RC5\bin using the Windows command prompt, the GUI
loads, but there is no GRASS command shell anywhere. The cursor in the Windows
command prompt just blinks. How can I access the GRASS shell? Am I missing
something?</div>
<div><br></div>
<div>I installed ActiveTcl 8.4 as well as MSYS.</div>
<div><br></div>
<div>Thanks,</div>
