<p class="western" style="MARGIN: 0px; LINE-HEIGHT: 115%">OSGeo-India, along with Indian Institute of Remote Sensing (IIRS), Survey of India (SoI), Wadia Institute of Himalayan Geology (WIHG) and IIIT-Hyderabad, is organising
<b>Second National FOSS4G-India Conference</b> on the theme “<i><b>Open Source Geospatial in Climate change Research and Natural Resource Management</b></i>” during June 8-10 2015 at Dehradun. The conference will have 2-days of technical deliberations (parallel
sessions) on a range of areas, preceded by a day of hands-on workshop on a range of FOSS4G tools/technology. The organising committee invites you to participate in the conference, submit/present an appropriate technical paper and contribute in the success

technology in range of fields - from agriculture, forestry to resource management and urban planning; from location based services on web and mobile platforms to many e-governance initiatives. This conference, for the first time in India, will bring together
the developers and users of FOSS4G tools - academicians, researchers, technologists, companies and entrepreneurs to share, discuss and collaborate towards faster adoption and use of the geospatial tools across the country.<br>

Brief about OSGeo-India: Open Source Geospatial Foundation of India (OSGeo-India) is a not-for-profit Society working with Governments, Academia and Research Institutions and Industry to provide support and help in building up of open source tools and applications
related to the field of geospatial technologies and its allied sciences in India. The Society and its activities are tuned towards achieving its goals, both in the context of software development, e-governance, localization (Indian language support) and building
of awareness & outreach of such software systems and publicly available geodata with a pan-India focus.
