<div>Expanding the OSGeo platform, World Wind, MapStory etc and links already established through G4A are worth much much bigger for us for the long term. We are better off with focussing on building up the seed crystal slowly but steadily. There is an old
 Indian saying which roughly translates as ' with a seed you can create a thousand forests over time'.</div>

 wrong person to ask. Getting a basic app into place with just a couple cities working in concert is all we need for a seed crystal. What we will get from these large organizations is more ‘think tank’ stuff that talks endlessly about ‘what is needed and why’
 without a whit of sustainable applied results to show for all the grandiose noise.

 than a seed crystal, something more like a golden egg-laying goose, and urban dwelling one, also popping out baby geese of similar sustainable ilk, one for every city on the planet. To quote Mercutio to Romeo “<a name="46">We waste our lights in vain, like
 lamps by day.</a>” We know what is needed, we just need to do it, and scale accordingly as cities join up. We may be a bit slow now, but to quote the Friar to Romeo “Wisely and slow; they
<i>stumble</i> that run <i>fast</i>.” </span></p>
