Ari, Peter,

Assuming that IncCom is good with Ari being mentor, your first step is to get on the agenda of an incubation meeting and have Ari motion that rasdaman be accepted into incubation. If this passes IncCom then it gets put on the next OSGeo board meeting to be ratified.

In order for IncCom members to make a reasonable decision, they will need to be convinced of the suitability of the project. Both the original application and http://www.osgeo.org/incubator/process/evaluation.html are useful places to start to prepare a summary of the project for IncCom. IncCom looks for projects that are a good fit with OSGeo so make sure to point out where the project aligns well with OSGeo and what (if anything) will need to be adapted during the incubation process. IncCom is also looking for projects that they expect to graduate from incubation, so check the incubation graduation criteria at http://www.osgeo.org/incubator/process/project_graduation_checklist.html for any potential issues.

You should both go through the links at the bottom of http://www.osgeo.org/incubator as well to ensure you are familiar with the expectations of a project entering incubation and what will need to be done for graduation.

Cheers

Paul
