Yes, I agree that there is a significant overlap with the
graduation checklist, and that we can probably deprecate the
status template and use the graduation checklist instead.<br>

the stable Project Graduation Checklist version on osgeo.org and the
two(?) versions in the Wiki are either out of snyc or the Wiki version
needs to be edited to tag it as approved:
