Hi Jody,<br>
This rating was originally intended for OSGeo-Live, and some of the
OSGeo-Live community found it a bit controversial.<br>
In particular, people don't like to have their project rated at a 2
out of 5 in maturity.<br>
(It might help if we made the rating top heavy with positions in the
5, 4.5, 4 range).<br>

We discussed a 5 star maturity rating in 2010. I still like
the idea, but it was contentious at the time, especially with
projects which would rank low on the rating, and it was
eventually dropped in favour of using just
"Incubated"/"Incubating" as more politically acceptable.<br>
