    Hi Frank,<br>
    <br>
    rasdaman community is a fully fledged Array DBMS, it can be and is
    used.<br>
    <br>
    As discussed earlier in this context, we honestly don't know the
    number of installations. At some time we were tempted to implemented
    an automatic "rasdaman has been installed on X" mechanism in the
    code, but for the obvious reasons we don't do that. We do know,
    though, _some_ installations of rasdaman community, such as: British
    Geological Survey; EOX; NASA Ames. The secore component of rasdaman
    is used by OGC as its official coordinate system resolver.<br>
    <br>
    There is a common misconception that the rasdaman company might make
    undue use of free contributions; as laid out on the Governance page,
    the converse is true: the company regularly and substantially
    contributes open-source code. For example, the company is partner in
    project PublicaMundi which is exclusively devoted to open-source
    work. In fact, the company is the largest committer at all, and of
    course we accept all code that adheres to the well-documented
    quality regulations - see <a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="http://rasdaman.org/wiki/Governance">http://rasdaman.org/wiki/Governance</a> .<br>

                        participate within the community.<br>
                        <br>
                        It has been pleasing to see how the community
                        has evolved over this time to develop effective,

                        <br>
                        I recommend to other FOSS4G communities to
