<div dir="ltr">Just as a point of reference the GeoWebCache project (one of our community projects) operates as a benevolent dictator model (or perhaps more accurately a steering committee of one since the project is small).<div><br></div><div>This has left us in an odd spot since Kevin Smith is out of commission for a couple of weeks:</div><div>- Leaving us to scramble for a GWC release to include in GeoServer 2.9</div><div>- Leaving us with nobody in position to enable wiki read/write (for a proposal change)</div><div><br></div><div>It should be noted that GeoWebCache is a respected and stable piece of software with a larger user base (due to it being embedded in GeoServer and GeoNode). It is making no effort to go through OSGeo incubation as the developer community is too small at this time.<div><div><div class="gmail_signature" data-smartmail="gmail_signature"><div dir="ltr"><div><div dir="ltr"><div>--</div><div>Jody Garnett</div></div></div></div></div></div>
