<div dir="ltr">Hey Vicky:<div><br></div><div>Thanks for stepping up to the OSGeo Live PSC - congrats!</div><div><br></div><div>OSGeo Live is a perfectly normal project and totally able to go through incubation.</div><div><br></div><div>What you are seeing on the website is "odd" - it is odd because the website is grouping software together by category (like web mapping or desktop software). The OSGeo Live project is not one of those things, instead it is a advocacy tool - used by OSGeo as an organization to introduce people to all that is great about open source .... so "out reach".<br></div><div><br></div><div>The categories on the website have nothing to do with incubation; and since the website is being replaced we will have new categories shortly.</div><div><br></div><div>I cannot remember if OSGeo Live has applied for the incubation process; who is your mentor? Normally a mentor joins your team as a guest to answer any questions (like this one) that comes up.
