<p>I'm in favour of deprecating this General Principles of
Incubation.</p>
<p>Reasons:</p>
<p>1. Our Graduation Checklist does a better job of explaining the
principles of OSGeo incubation.</p>
<p>2. It is simpler for new users to find the right material if we
just keep it in one place.</p>
<p>3. We reduce our maintenance burden</p>
<p>4. We reduce the risk of documents describing conflicting
information</p>
