[OSGeo-Jobs] GRASS/ high res orthophotographic feature extraction

Hi

I'm looking for someone  to work with me to test the viability of using GRASS (or Orfeo Toolbox or similar) for supervised/unsupervised classification & extraction of landcover,infrastructure (eg buildings, fencelines), water features etc from high resolution orthophotography (NearMap.com - 10cm resolution).

I'm not a GRASS user, but would like to understand the viability of using these types of tech and NearMap for this type of classification/extraction.

I imagine it might be a week or so of work for initial results. If you're available,interested and have relevant experience, can you please send your details and rates?
