[Lexicon] Want to join the lexicon list

Hi,

My name is Andreas Schild. I am working with GIS since the early 90ies.

Until ~2005 I was an active member in several standardization boards related to Geoinformatics (Austrian Standard Institute, ISO's TC211 and OGC's Web Feature Service Group).

Since about 2005 I am wired to Open Source.

I have been investigating in the german translation of the PostGIS manual. Therefor I maintain an "english to german glossary" of related terms at http://geo.bfw.ac.at/dokuwiki/doku.php?id=wiki:postgres:postgis_glossary-de.

I would be interested to participate in the lexicon project; maybe it will be possible to integrate the above mentioned PostGIS glossary in some way.

Gheers,

Andreas

Hi Agata,

Great to hear that you are interested in joining the Lexicon community.
I think the problem you faced with emailing the list might be because:
you mailed the wrong list, or you were not subscribed, or you had a
large attachment.

I've now added you to the lexicon list, so you can send emails to
lexicon at lists.osgeo.org. Why don't you start by introducing yourself. (A
short paragraph is enough). Welcome to our family.

Cameron
