At the moment, coordination of the Live DVD is happening on the 
live-demo email list:

We have a solid basis for the DVD from efforts for FOSS4G 2008. I'm 
hoping to see some more activity start to develop on this soon, as 
people start thinking about incorporating their presentations with the 
LiveDVD for 2009.
