Hi,

I've updated the install script for gvSIG on a fresh install of
Xubuntu 9.10 and it's working fine. I haven't tested all the installs
so there are (small I hope) chances to not work on a complete
configuration of the VM.

I had to use a gvSIG deb package with the 1.5 JRE as xubuntu 9.10
doesn't have a java 1.5 packages. We're moving to java 1.6 but it's
not well tested on 1.9.

I've also updated the docs and the spreadsheet with memory usage.

Next step is to have gvSIG mobile working but I don't expect to have
time to deal with it before next week, so I'm over the feature freeze.

And a short note:

I've used a scripting simple mechanism to obtain the user desktop
location as this folder is "localized" and my Xubuntu was in Spanish.
To do so I've changed to bash, and then:

source $USER_HOME/.config/user-dirs.dirs
USER_DESKTOP=$XDG_DESKTOP_DIR

I think this mechanism could be put on main and export the variable to
be used on the rest of the scripts. The same applies to the USER_NAME
and USER_HOME variables.

Yes, our LiveDVD is not localized but I thought it's just a better way
to deal with "absolute" paths. And yes, probably I'm over complicating
the whole thing.

Cheers
